“Super Jumbo” flies to Manchester Airport from September

Emirates Airbus A380A quick item to note that the first flight of an Airbus A380 double-deck “Super Jumbo” plane into Manchester Airport is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 1st September 2010. One of the largest airliners in the world, it will visit Manchester daily on Emirates’ route to Dubai. Manchester will become the first regional airport in the world to play host to the A380 on a daily basis. Entry to the Runway Viewing Park by car will be restricted to advance tickets only – but you should still be able to visit on foot or by catching the 200 bus from the airport.
